The new 44 PowerCat is making great progress. As you can see, the hull mold is now complete, and the very streamlined hull looks terrific. We are currently laying up hull #1 which is scheduled for an April launch. |

Manta 44 PowerCat hull #1 is now in production and as you can see from the attached photos the hull shape is very sleek; offering very low- drag hull shapes, with multiple spray chines, and a wave-breaking nacelle for an excellent ride in rough seas. |

We’ve also attached the photos of the Manta 44 PowerCat deck plug from which the deck mold will be made. As you can see it has a very stylish look, with plenty of camber to shed water quickly, while offering very low aerodynamic resistance. |

There is much more window area than the SailCat and the window louver mounts can be seen as well. The aft view shows the generous swim platform and tilting stairwells that will offer tremendous engine access. |

The PowerCat utilizes the same construction methods and techniques of the proven SailCat to ensure a very strong and light design. Both hull and deck are molded in a one-piece female mold. All parts are hand laid- no core is used below the waterline and no wood is used as a core material. All bulkheads are glassed into the hull and deck and the entire hull-to-deck joint is fiber glassed, creating a very strong watertight one-piece yacht. |
