Improved Engine Room Access
Both engine rooms under the aft berths, and the watermaker area under the forward berth can now be accessed very easily with a walk thru doorway, and hydraulic assisted lifting bunk top. This new improvement allows easy inspection and servicing of the engines without disturbing the bedding. |

New Volvo Saildrive
The new Volvo saildrive incorporates two new features to make maintenance much easier. First, the sacrificial zinc can now be removed without removing the propeller, making changing a zinc in the water a snap. Second, the transmission now comes with a pump out tube, so the saildrive oil can be removed and changed without having to haul out. |

New folding bench seat
The new folding bench is now available as an option and can easily be attached to the standard hardtop/radar arch. This very comfortable seat affords guests greater visibility over the cabintop, and an excellent off-watch berth. It folds up for access to the dinghy, without adding a lot of extra weight. |

New extended galley counter with trash bin locker, opening door and counter lid access
This new improvement offers more counter space as well as a convenient location for trash |

New raised cabin top offering 3" more head room in salon
The cabin top has been raised offering 3" more head room in the salon over previous Manta's, commencing with Hull No. 82. This makes the salon look much more spacious while allowing those who are 6' 3" to 6' 4"* good standing headroom. (*model is 6' 2 1/2" tall) |

The new adjustable boom vang allows much better mainsail control and performance, while making reefing easier. |

New rig tensioners
The new rig tensioners provide a much easier and safer way to tension the headstay than the old running backs, since they don't interfere with the main boom, it is not necessary to move them as with the running backstays. They also provide an extra hand hold when deployed. |
